Myrenda R. Jones
Myrenda Jones earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. After graduating, she worked in sales and marketing until she got into the oil and gas industry in 2006. Before receiving her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2019, she owned a successful oil and gas land company. She continues to be a certified professional landman as well as a lawyer.
Myrenda is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Myrenda received the Phillips Allen Porta Memorial Award for Legal Ethics in 2018. Jones also earned the American Jurisprudence Award in Professional Responsibility, meaning that she earned the top grade for her class. While attending law school at OU, Myrenda traveled to Oxford, England to study law at Worcester College for one semester. Prior to branching out on her own, Myrenda enjoyed a successful legal career with Mahaffey & Gore until February, 2023.
